Watching movies on the iPhone is actually surprisingly good. After a few minutes, your eyes adjust to the small form factor and you can dive into the experience on the screen. Since Netflix is only available in the region you are located in, I’ll show you how you can watch other regions with your current Netflix account. This way, you’ll be able to watch Netflix content from the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Ireland, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
In order to actually unblock Netflix I’m using a service called Unlocator. Just follow my quick step guide bellow.

- First create a free Unlocator account
- Follow the setup instructions for your iPhone
- Restart iPhone
- Install the Netflix app from the App Store on your iPhone
- Login to the newly installed Netflix app with your Netflix account info and stream away.

How to Hide Your Location from Netflix on the iPhone
Ok, so, as you might have figured out already, Netflix will determine your location when you use the service in the UK. The Netflix server does this by examining where in the world the data requests come from. In turn, Unlocator will fake the location of these requests, and make Netflix think you are located in one of the supported Netflix regions. There are several advantages to this.
- You can change between Netflix locations as you please and use the same Netflix account.
- Your Internet speed will remain the same, as only the request location is changed and your Internet connection remains untouched.
The fact that you can change region as you please results in the biggest Netflix catalogue of them all. In fact, you get access to all the shows and movies available across all the countries in the world where Netflix is available. Can I Keep my Existing UK Netflix Account?
Absolutely! Your UK Netflix account remains the same. The only difference will be that you can switch between the different Netflix regions.
To change between the regions, go to account home on your Unlocator account and thereafter into “channel settings”. Don’t forget to restart your device after the region change. Now you can watch Netflix content from other countries, such as the US.
On Which Devices Can Unlocator Unblock Netflix in the UK?
Since Unlocator is not a piece of software but rather a simple network setting, you can use it with any device that supports Netflix. The list is being updated all the time, but for the time being you can use Unlocator to watch Netflix in the UK in your browser, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, iPod, Smart TVS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Roku, Wii, Android Devices, Win Phone 8, Western Digital and much more.
Just remember that Unlocator will not work with your iPhone while on the go. It has to be configured on the Wi-Fi connection you are using or the router you are connected to. Edge, 3G, 4G and LTE will not allow you to change the DNS settings.
