As you probably know, the Wii is not just a gaming device, it can also be used to watch Netflix. I’ll show you how you can watch US Netflix with your current Canadian Netflix account. You can actually watch all Netflix regions which also include Mexico, Brazil, UK, Ireland, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
To unblock Netflix, I’m using a service called Unlocator. Follow the quick steps bellow to get started and streaming.

- Then follow the setup guide for the Wii
- Restart the Wii
- Install the Netflix app from The Wii Shop Channel
- Open the Netflix app and login with your new Netflix account info and you can start streaming.

How Does Unlocator Make US Netflix and other Regions Work on the Wii in Canada?
Netflix is only available in selected countries, which is why it does not allow you to watch US Netflix when you’re based in Canada, for instance. What the Netflix server does is locate your position when you’re interacting with Netflix and thereby block you from all other regions but the one you’re located in. However, by using Unlocator, it disguises your location and you can freely watch US Netflix or Netflix from any other region.
When changing from region to region, all you have to do is go to “account home” on the Unlocator website, and then into “channel settings”. Once you’ve changed region, you have to remember to restart your device. Now you’re set to watch whichever Netflix region you’d like to watch.
